Sneak Peek: New 2023 Lighting Designs by Progress Lighting

A new year means new lighting designs! Progress Lighting will debut more than 250 new products next week in Dallas at the Lightovation trade show, encompassing decorative lighting, ceiling fans, bathroom lighting and other fixture styles.

“Our Winter 2023 launch introduces exciting combinations of materials, rich finishes and fresh styles that elevate our design-driven collections to a new level of livable luxury," said Colleen Visage, Progress Lighting VP of Product Development.

Rich, Warm Decorative Lighting Finish Tones

One of the big trend stories in the decorative lighting category is the continued emphasis on warm finish tones. Warmer finish colors continue to reign, with lighting and fans in soft gold and brass finishes, brushed nickel, washed and weathered wood tones and matte black that blend well with décor styles from modern to urban industrial to farmhouse.

Design Series: The Breckenridge Collection

Breckenridge, a new collection from the Progress Lighting Design Series, presents a bold circular silhouette holding shadeless candle slips. It is finished in a choice of soft aged bronze or matte black, adding depth and dimension to its modern rustic style.

Design Series: The Lattimore & Chandra Collection

Lattimore, another Progress Lighting Design Series collection, has an earthy coastal feel. Its open cage design is coated with a mellow aged brass finish accented with woven metal in a weathered rattan finish, emphasizing the fixture's textured composition. Our new Chandra collection introduces global elements with an artful lantern form handwoven by artisans using knotted string in an open, airy pattern that filters light beautifully to provide relaxed warmth and texture.

Elegantly Rustic Ceiling Fans

The Bastrop Ceiling Fan

Bastrop features updated vintage styling in the ceiling fan category from its warm wood tone and rustic metal cage frame construction. Curved fan blades finished in grey weathered wood feature an interesting bend that heightens the fan's industrial aesthetic.

Symmetrical Geometrical Lighting Designs

Symmetrical geometrical lighting designs are another trend with staying power. Progress introduces the Haas collection to its Design Series. A bold linear frame branches out to embrace smoothly etched opal glass globes that imbue spaces with added dimension and beautiful illumination. The Atwell collection adds chandeliers, wall sconces and semi-flush mounts whose long lines ending in clear glass globe shades define a modern aesthetic.

Modern Vanity Light Trends

In the vanity lighting category, Progress debuts Captarent Illuminated mirrors, whose flawless function and fashion combine in a luxe addition to modern bathrooms. Offered in round, oval and square silhouettes, frosted LEDs highlight the profile of the mirror, creating a captivating aesthetic and providing a balanced wash of innovative LED illumination.  

New vanity wall introductions reflect the minimalist design trend that offers ideal illumination without distraction. Reiss features polished concentric bands accenting simple white glass shades, bringing an elegant appeal to the modern design. Copeland uses a distinctive, softened diamond-shaped opal glass shade to deliver elegant illumination to bathrooms. Reiss and Copeland can be mounted with the glass facing up or down for more design flexibility.
