Refined Modern Glamour

Toll Bros Castle Rock_WEB

The design team at Possibilities for Design used black and gold accents to add luxe appeal to this kitchen for Toll Brothers in Castle Rock, CO. A black tile backsplash breaks up the neutral beige cabinets. In contrast, a black kitchen island is topped with a sleek white countertop and surrounded by black and gold stools. A trio of oversized Era Collection Pendants steals the scene with its carefully crafted details and gold leaf accents that offer a vintage electric feel. Era is part of the Progress Design Series, which offers design-forward lighting fixtures that add a luxurious touch to homes.

Nature-inspired Contemporary Design

In another collaboration with Toll Brothers, @PossibilitiesforDesign designed this room showcasing warm wood and black accents for a home in Berthoud, CO. Its modern organic design starts with the sleek look of the fireplace and the clean lines of the furniture. These elements are then accentuated with natural materials, including reclaimed wood, burnished metal, and lots of pillows and fabrics in neutral and warm colors to introduce texture and an organic feel. In addition, the Kylo Modern Chandelier offers a modern edge with sleek metal bars coated in a classic matte black finish creating an asymmetrical form that adds drama to the room's design. Its cables can be individually adjusted for a custom design, and each metal bar is capped with crisp frosted shades delivering soft tubes of seamless light.

Contrasting Neutrals

Design influencer Melissa Tyler from @lakeandlumber brought warmth and texture into her great room by overgrowing the fireplace. This technique uses grout to extend beyond the face of the stone or even partially cover the front of the rock rather than being recessed like a standard grout technique. The traditional silhouette of the Canebrake Chandelier in matte black makes a dramatic centerpiece, contrasting nicely with the room's cozy, neutral color scheme defined by the warm colors of the stone.
