Written by Progress Lighting on June 14, 2019
We've done it again! Progress is unveiling lighting designs that hit the high points of some of today's trendiest lifestyle categories at next week's lighting trade show, Lightovation. Whether your favorite design style veers towards classic or contemporary, we're introducing new lighting to suit your personality. Here's your sneak peek:
Seneca Sophisticated simplicity is personified in the Seneca collection. Within its open cage design, candelabra lights seem to float in midair, brought down to earth only by its simple base, offering a clean and modern look to any space.
Kempsey For Farmhouse styling with a twist, look no further than Kempsey, whose inside-out design showcases stylish charm. A sturdy metal frame on the outside captures the textured linen shade within its arms so that the structure becomes part of the design. The shade has an inner transparent backing, so its beautiful texture is visible from inside out. A wall bracket featuring a multi-directional arm holding the shade completes the collection.
Foster Clean ironwork inspired by antique trains defines the look of Foster. Substance and form are the watchwords of this family, with a simple design of bent metal arms enclosing exposed bulbs held by an ornamental socket cover. Foster's squared lines and mixed metal elements are ideal for Industrial and Rustic settings.
Rushton Celebrate the past with the industrial-styled Rushton vanity. Mechanical details like a pulley wheel complete with a faux cord holding a clear glass shade, an antique style socket, and an exposed bulb (not included) add vintage charm. The mixed metal fixture is offered in either Brushed Nickel accented with a Black tube arm, or Graphite with an Antique Brass tube arm, for a look that preserves a sense of history.
Signal Signal has an industrial origin, yet its clean lines beckon a modern sensibility. Clear blown glass shades deliver a lighter touch, balancing the substantial look of the angular metal arm and round backplate. With its emphasis on simplicity and function, Signal is ideal for many residential settings.
Green Ridge For Craftsman-style outdoor lighting, look to Greene Ridge, whose strong, boxy shape tops a clear glass shade in keeping with the utilitarian design and lack of curves that define the Arts and Crafts look.
