PROGRESS LIGHTING

Real-Life Inspiration

Progress Lighting shares some real-life design inspiration from our partners across the country who use Progress fixtures in their interior design projects.

At Progress, we're pleased to have lively and growing connections with the design community. Our social media channels are filled with beautiful and inspiring images from design projects across the country. Here's a roundup of some of our latest collaborations.

Pool House Remodel

Recently, we worked with Alyce Lopex, San Diego interior designer and owner of The True House, on a pool house project. Alyce was revamping the exterior of the pool house and adding a bathroom inside. She chose the Brookside lantern in copper for the exterior, whose vintage undertones beautifully accented the simple cladding and black trimmed French doors. Brookside is an indoor-outdoor lantern fabricated from solid copper that ages to a natural patina finish. Inside, for the bath, Alyce selected the Terrazzo pendant. Terrazzo is created from a polished sandstone concrete composite shade flecked with warm earthy hues. When paired with the striking swirled wallpaper, Terrazo lends an artistic flair to the bathroom's design.

Elegantly Accented Dining Room

Blogger Nicole Francis, from @1776FauxFarmhouse has been busy with her young family and customizing her builder-grade home one project at a time. Recently, Nicole installed our new Lowery pendant in her dining room. While initially looking for a Farmhouse-style pendant, she decided to go in a different direction as the dining room's design evolved. Lowery gave her the more modern look she desired. Its frame consists of layered rectangular shields coated in a textured black iron finish which are artistically combined with distressed gold leaf panels. Light glows from inside, casting a shimmering reflective light on her black dining room table and creating a dramatic focal point for the room.

One Fan, Two Ways

Many of our ceiling fans are rated for both indoor and outdoor use. And it's incredible how different they look in each setting! For example, here's how two design influencers used the same style fan, but with a different finish, inside and outside their homes.

Instagrammer Patrice Williams of @sassafrashome selected the Ryne ceiling fan featuring blades finished in a handsome woodgrain complemented by an architectural bronze finish. Her husband and son handily installed Ryne on the porch ceiling over the swing bed, replacing a standard ceiling light. Ryne can be controlled using the provided 6-speed full-function remote or add on our P2673-01 WIFI module to the fan for added flexibility control by a voice assistant, tablet, or smartphone.

Designer Piper Stromatt of Boutique Living by Curate often selects Progress lighting fixtures for her client's projects. And when she was looking for a ceiling fan for her home's guest room, she naturally turned to us. Piper chose the Ryne fan finished in a beautifully neutral matte white. The clean look gives Ryne a sleek style that offsets this room's cozy aesthetic and chunky textures.
