The design of Hubbell’s new plenum-rated recessed ceiling boxes fits on standard T-bar drop ceilings. Hinged doors allow matching ceiling tiles to be field installed. Equipment and connections are concealed for a clean installation, while maintaining full accessibility.

The boxes feature rigid steel construction with plenty of room for wiring and a variety of knockouts for conduit connections. AV racks are included for device mounting. HRCB12 1’ x2’ models ship with two 15A, 125V duplex receptacles while HRCB22 2’ x2’ models ship with five 15A, 125V single receptacles.

Models are available with pole adapters for projector mounting. Options include cooling fan kits, hardware kits for threaded rod and cable support, and frames for sheet rock ceiling installation.

The new 5-gang HRWB25 wall box design features a 2” conduit feed-through with concentric knockouts. It provides the easiest way to run connectorized cables from a floorbox to a monitor and up to a ceiling box. Additional knockouts are included for top or bottom feed. Included two-piece covers ship in black or white.

Inside, a knockout for low voltage plate mounting provides an oval opening for wire pass-through. Intended for 16” on-center flush mounting, each steel box includes mounting hardware, low voltage gromets, and tie-wraps. A ¾” extension plate is available for use with concrete block walls or walls with thick coverings.

These recessed ceiling and wall boxes bring power, voice, data, and AV to users in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, including healthcare, education, entertainment, and food & beverage markets. Perfect for lobbies, conference rooms, cafeterias, and more.
