Our best and brightest strobe is now available in the new Model 541-001. Upon first glance, this LED strobe light may look like its 120 V ac legacy counterpart. However, unlike its predecessor, this new product requires a mere 12-24 V dc for power. Another added enhancement for this LED strobe is the ability to operate both with and without a constant-on glow.
Factory-programmed for use in our emergency telephone applications where the “constant-on” feature is used to identify the location of the telephone, the Low Voltage LED Strobe flashes at rate of 240 flashes per minute once it has been activated. If that sounds like more strobe than you need, don’t worry! The 541-001 can be used in standard or non-emergency applications. A bit of field programming can de-activate the “constant-on” feature, so it only operates in flashing mode when activated from an external source. Activate with a dry contact closure input or by switching the dc input voltage. The 541-001 also includes a secondary contact closure output for auxiliary equipment control.
Rated for UL "Outdoor Wet" Locations, this high visibility strobe can withstand most challenges served up by Mother Nature. The Model 541-001 LED Strobe is designed for easy installation in our free-standing or wall-mount towers and communication stations. If no tower is necessary in your application, the strobe can be freely mounted to any flat surface utilizing a simple GAI-Tronics® mounting bracket.
