Floorboxes with extra capacity become an indispensable asset in a building’s power and data delivery infrastructure. New SystemOne ETERNAL™ series concrete floorboxes from Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems provide enhanced installation efficiency as well as expanded capacity.

New ETERNAL series floorboxes feature deeper wiring chambers, providing extra room for wiring. At 3.75” deep, the new design allows for larger AV modules and cables, relieving bend radius.

The new series also introduces an industry-first PVC base box with a steel top and rectangular or round covers, combining the unique capabilities of SystemOne design with PVC construction. Easier to install, these floorboxes offer superior moisture protection and are designed for slab on-grade and second floor and above applications. They adjust both pre-pour and post-pour. A new 4/5 floorbox for larger AV cabling applications is also added to the product line.

The true wire feed-through design accepts new Hubbell patent-pending PVC conduit hubs that install quickly and don’t protrude into the box. This offers additional room in the wiring chambers while reducing conduit and feed-through wiring installation time.

The new PVC external hubs can be installed in a contractor’s prefab shop for additional time and material savings on the jobsite. Of course, standard hubs are also compatible.

Standard Hubbell recessed floorbox subplates and covers can be used with the new ETERNAL series. A new single circuit pre-wired triple cube subplate is also now available. With three single cube receptacles, it offers more capacity for users. Two triple cube subplates provide the same number of receptacles as three duplex receptacle plates.

ETERNAL series floorboxes provide installation efficiency and user convenience in a variety of commercial applications.
