Because businesses across the globe are hard at work combatting the spread of COVID-19, companies are looking to add temperature scanning and mask detection capabilities to their access control system. GAI-TRONICS has developed a new advanced access control feature for their HUBBCOM™ family of products. HUBBCOM™ devices now offer temperature sensing, a contactless way to measure body temperatures and facilitate safe access to a facility. Authorized users simply scan an access card and align their face with the template displayed on the HUBBCOM™ video entry screen.
Temperature sensing is an added access control feature that ensures all employees and visitors are entering a building with a body temperature that falls within a pre-determined range. Access is denied if an authorized user requesting access has an irregular temperature. When denied access occurs, the HUBBCOM™ temperature sensing device sends a report to a designated email address with a photo and temperature reading to notify security or another pre-determined individual.
Temperature sensing access control aids in contact tracing and minimizes the risk of spreading the virus and other germs in businesses for a wide range of markets. Because this is an added contactless access control feature, the temperature scanner built in the HUBBCOM™ entry device minimizes face-to-face contact and significantly reduces the workload of manual temperature measurement.
What makes our system different? HUBBCOM™ devices provide numerous functionalities from access control and point-to-point audio/video to SIP telephony and facility-wide or zoned broadcasting. Temperature sensing is an option offered to HUBBCOM™ models (GSC1100TS, GSC2100TS, GSC3100TS and GSC4100TS).
